We measure the power of Saabs for several reasons:

Here you see a power measurement of a Saab / NEVS 9-3. we measured the power before cleaning the inlet path and after cleaning.
The difference is 16.1 HP and 13.9 NM more after the treatment, but also earlier power and much smoother.

Power measurement Stage 3 Saab 9-3. This Saab came to us with the suspicion of a loss of power. We then decided to start with a power measurement, which showed that the Saab had too little power, namely 247.5 HP and 382.2 NM. The first thought was that the wastegate might have become a bit weak. Upon disassembly, this suspicion turned out to be correct, we were able to adjust the actuator and then perform a power measurement. This resulted in a power of: 266.2 HP and 439.8 NM, which is a difference of 18.7 HP and 57.6 NM.
What is also interesting on the graph, in the last measurement you see that the power fluctuates somewhat at the end. That is not right, the Saab has an imitation rear silencer, the suspicion is that it may not allow exhaust gases to pass through as well as is necessary for this power.

This turbo X came to us with an XWD complaint. After resolving the XWD complaint, the turbo the power came in late and non-linearly, and it also didn't feel as fast as it should. This was an excellent opportunity to measure capacity and visualize what we feel. As you can see in the graph, there is nothing wrong with the power line stated by Saab. That confirmed our suspicion. The next step is to replace the distribution and provide the engine computer with the original software.

Power measurement Saab 9-3 Turbo X 6MT. We have been able to technically bring this Saab up to date with, among other things: new distribution, gaskets, seals, various. exhaust parts and some upgrades such as a Turbosmart wastegate actuator and the software was tailor-made in collaboration with DionHPT. The 3'' downpipe and DO88 intake set were already mounted. The reason for the distribution was the misfires, the out-of-round idling and the idea of too little power.
Ultimately, after all the work, this turbo X achieved a significant performance of 310 HP and 542NM

Deze prachtige Hirsch cabriolet kwam bij ons voor een gezondheids check. Na een vacuum lekkage verholpen te hebben was het tijd om hem te meten. Het maximum vermogen is gemeten op 300.1 PK op de krukas en 522.1NM
